The Development of Imaginary Reality Therapy Program for De-Stress of the General Public

Abstract
The objective of this study was to develop a reality imagination therapy program to relieve the stress of normal people without specific disease and to verify its effectiveness upon execution. The program was mainly composed of building consulting environment, search of desire (WANT), search of action (DOING), self-assessment (EVALUATION), execution plan (PLAN) and etc. The program was arranged by the followings; participating in activities, checking homeworks, checking topics of the previous program, introducing concepts, subgroup activities (roleplaying, discussion, and presentation), giving feedbacks each other, assigning homeworks, being trained of new activities, summary, being assigned of homeworks, and etc. To verify the effectiveness of this program, the change in the business stress index of male and female was analyzed. The index was decreased by 15.31% in male and by 10.76% in female to make 4.45% of decrease in average, all statistically significant (p<.05). The stress index was decreased by 17.38%, in the age of 30 s, 15.4% in 40 s, 13.36~14.83% in 10~20 s, and 0.89~4.69% in 50~60 s without significance. Based on the result above, it was found that the reality imagination therapy program developed in this study had certain degree of systemicity enough to relieve the stress of normal people. It is considered that this program is effective for the relief of stress of normal people according to the results from the effectiveness verification study.
